And we are lean – our overheads are low which means both savings for you and a higher level of service for your buck.
We also have links throughout the UK to trusted and respected HP Designjet engineers, so if we can’t get to you personally we can still help.

For stretched publicly funded bodies – Councils, NHS, Fire, Police Schools, Colleges and Universities, we offer an additional discount of 10% on service and repair contracts.

Why Are We So Confident?
We will effectively fix your Designjet printer in ways other HP’s more official channels know little about.
- Fixing parts not replacing them.
- Making our own 3D printed parts to overcome design flaws.
- In-house rebuilding service stations (+fitting new felts and motors).
- Doing component level repair – (yes using a soldering gun).
- Holding stocks of obsolete parts no longer available from HP.
- Rebuilding tube systems for Designjets (the only company in Europe to do this).
- Printhead recovers process using unique technology.
- Working with international partners to find and share solutions.

Who Are We?
Bristol Inkjet Ltd (BIL) was founded by Peter Martins and David Elliot. Both men are senior engineers – very experienced at fixing printers and also building lasting and rewarding relationships with HP Designjet users.
At BIL pride ourselves on ethical business practice and where ever possible exceeding your expectations.
Peter Martins
Peter Martins has been working on DesignJet’s for 10 years and brings a wealth of experience of component level and sub system repairs, inks, cartridge refilling, re-chipping, printhead refurbishment, as well as rebuilding hundreds of HP DesignJet printers over the last 10 years on site throughout the South West.
David Elliot
David Elliot is a time served Rolls Royce engineer and has for the last 30 years (until leaving in 2018) been the Technical Director of AD Young – an HP partner. He has loads of HP training and excellent experience of looking after a team of engineers and managing contracts for some the UK most prestigious businesses, and as you would expect he is a top man on site, enjoying good rapport with customers
Dave left AD Young following the company being bought out and together with Peter formed Bristol Inkjet Ltd in 2018.
